In New Window B.V. is owned by Ank Mertens.
Ank Mertens was graduated in 1991 as Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecommunication at the HTS of Arnhem. In 1992 Ank started working as a Vision Engineer at Cinevideogroep in Almere, The Netherlands and up till now she has more then thirty years of experience as a Vision Engineer and as a Senior Vision Engineer.
Between 2000-2003 Ank worked for three years at Casema as a Specialist Strategic Development at the Competence Center on Broadband Technologies department.
In 2003, Ank Mertens started her own company In New Window and since then she is active as an all-round Senior Vision Engineer, working in Europe, Asia, Middle East, North and South America. Her clients are EMG, NEP, The Crew, Desmet Studio’s, The National Opera & Ballet, Walk in the Park, Transvision, Ongehoord Nederland and Faber. She is experienced on different Outside Broadcast Vans and in different Studio’s in all formats IP, 4K, HD, SDI and PAL.
She also has done several projects as a Consultant in the area of Digital and Interactive Television in the Netherlands at Mediakabel and Essent and she has done multiple photography projects all over the world.
